What is Crew?
Crew is a leadership development program for students entering grades 9-12 in Fall 2019.
Soccer Nights Crew FAQ
1. Who can apply for Soccer Nights Crew?
All youth going into 9th - 12th grade in September 2019, who are interested in helping at Soccer Nights and learning leadership skills.
2. When is the application due?
The application is due on Tuesday, June 11th. No late applications will be accepted.
3. How do I submit my application?
You can submit your application online. If this is a challenge for you, please contact Tory (908-858-4886; tory@reservoirchurch.org).
4. Do I have to come to the interview and training?
Yes. You will get an email with instructions on how to sign up for your individual interview. Training will be on Thursday, 6/20, 6-8 pm, and Saturday, June 22, 9am - 1pm, at Russell Field (333 Rindge Ave., Cambridge, MA).
Rain location is Reservoir Church, 170 Rindge Ave., Cambridge, MA.

5. What are you looking for in a Crew applicant?
During the interview, we are looking for youth who are:
- Committed. Able to attend Crew interview time and volunteer every day (June 24th-28th, 4-9:30pm).
- Passionate. Excited about Soccer Nights and think it’s awesome!
- Eager to learn. Willing to receive training and feedback to be a great helper.
6. What will we be doing from 4-9:30 everyday?
- 4:00-5:30pm is Crew time: eat free pizza dinner, play games, and practice leadership skills.
- 5:30-9:00pm is the Soccer Nights program: help with the clinic in a specific role (assistant coach, registration, etc.).
- 9-9:30pm is clean up and debrief time.
7. What are the different volunteer positions I can apply for?
- Assistant Coach: Coach a team of 8-12 kids to be better soccer players. Run drills and scrimmages.
- Registration and Logistics: Check kids or volunteers in and out, sell t-shirts, cut and pass out snacks, set-up and tear-down the field, supply teams with water and other supplies.
- 3 to 5 year olds: Run activities with 3 to 5 year olds such as mini soccer games, coloring, and face painting.
